My pediatrician gave me the advice to just stop cold turkey since we were down to just 2-3 times a day and I had no idea how to phase out any further. So, I used my trip to Blogher as my jump off point. Telling Ellie "no more boobie because she's a big girl now" and watching her little lip tremble while she held back tears was probably one of my hardest parenting moments so far.
How do all you seasoned mommies do it? I had no idea it would be so hard.
To all you mamas out there still breast feeding and having to slow down for that time to snuggle your quiet babies, I so envy you.
